New RF power amplifier module for RGO ONE

As from 5+ series a new PA55 board will be used in all RGO ONE units.
The heart of PA board is AFT05MP075N a high ruggedness N-Channel LDMOS MOSFET by NXP. It is designed for mobile two-way radio applications and easy pulls out 55+ watts on entire HF band with high gain, ruggedness and broadband performance.

Driver stage utilizes same series modern NXP AFM906NT1, 6W MOSFET transistor which gives sufficient RF power to drive the final.
The results are delightful – more power with very high efficiency and low consumption which is essential for portable (off grid) use.

Key components of this new design are power transformers – made in wide band TLT configuration. In order to achieve widest performance range we manufactured special low impedance coaxial cables – 17 ohm and 5ohm.
